Battery Energy Storage (BESS), Power Generation & Distribution Project

Battery Energy Storage (BESS), Power Generation & Distribution Project

Objective: The primary aim of this case study was to conduct comprehensive research, analysis, and solution determination for an industry client in the realm of power generation, storage, and distribution.

Client's Proposal: The client envisioned an investment in energy infrastructure to cater to the needs of a specific location. This included the provision of a robust supply of energy to meet the area's demands.

Client's Proposal: The client envisioned an investment in energy infrastructure to cater to the needs of a specific location. This included the provision of a robust supply of energy to meet the area's demands.

Challenges: The main challenge revolved around proposing renewable energy sources that align with the client's requirements for the designated location while operating within strict financial constraints. The budgetary limit set at £25 million posed a significant constraint.

Approach: Our approach involved a multifaceted analysis. We delved into researching the natural resources available at the location, such as solar irradiance and wind speeds. Additionally, we meticulously estimated the project's total costs, encompassing everything from equipment procurement to energy distribution.

Outcome: Through diligent research and analysis, we provided the client with viable solutions that not only met their energy requirements but also aligned with their sustainability goals. Our proposed solutions were tailored to optimize efficiency while adhering to the budgetary limitations set forth by the client.
